Pavela Fiaui (Dave Mayeda, Earl Hishinuma) – is currently working on her thesis on Samoan culture and how cultural engagement is related to GPA, religion, and parenting styles.

Corey Adler (Katy Irwin, Karen Umemoto) – is writing her manuscript on how generational status might influence culture and gender roles.

Bo Keopaseut and Joanna Cruz (Janice Chang, Earl Hishinuma) – are collaborating on a manuscript about generational status and how acculturation impacts violent behaviors.

Janice Chang (Earl Hishinuma) – is working on her dissertation on ethnic and gender mean differences with aggression and risk and protective factors that contribute to aggressive behavior.

Ophelia Ongalibang (Karen Umemoto, Earl Hishinuma) – will write her manuscript on whether higher scores on a localism scale are related to less violence. She will also take into account gender, ethnic, and other demographic differences.
