Jeanelle Sugimoto is the Program Manager for the Asian/Pacific Islander Youth Violence Prevention Center. She received her B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and is currently a full time student at Chaminade University working on  her M.S. in Forensic Science.  Her past research positions and employers include: UHM Botany Department, Cancer Research Center of Hawaii, Straub Clinic & Hospital, and the Hawaii Outcomes Institute. Her career goal is to attend medical school and serve the state of Hawaii as a physician.
