John McArdle John McArdle, Ph.D.

Dr. John McArdle is now Senior Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) where he is Quantitative Area Head. Dr. McArdle is also an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. He also worked for 20 years as a Professor of Quantitative Psychology at the University of Virginia.

Dr. McArdle develops and teaches about cutting-edge statistical techniques to analyze human development and longitudinal data using structural equation modeling. He has over 80 peer-reviewed publications. He is Director of the United States National Growth and Change Study (funded by the National Institute on Aging), and teaches at the Advanced Training Institute on Longitudinal Research for the American Psychological Association.

Dr. McArdle received his B.A. is Psychology at Franklin & Marshall College, M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology at Hofstra University, and conducted his Post-Doctoral research in Psychology at the University of Denver.
