Gregory
Yee Mark, D. Crim. is a Professor in the Department of Ethnic Studies at California State
University, Sacramento. He received his Doctorate in Criminology from
the University of California, Berkeley. Dr.
Mark is the Co-Principal Investigator of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
funded Asian/Pacific Islander Youth Violence Prevention Center at the University of Hawai’i
at Manoa and Principal Investigator/Director of the National Coordinating
Center for the Academic
Centers for Excellence on Youth Violence Prevention. Dr. Mark’s research interests are community
mobilization, youth gangs, youth violence prevention, Chinese American
communities, and United
States drug legislation.
