Katherine Irwin, Ph.D., serves as the Study Principal Investigator of Small Grant #1. As the Study PI, she oversees all activities directly related to the project including the responsibilities for implementation of the project; the overall scientific direction of the research including defining objectives and approaches; and the planning, conducting, analyzing, and publishing of results, interpretations, and conclusions of the project. She also supervises the graduate assistant from Sociology. She is a member of the Executive Committee.
