Claire Asam, Ph.D.
Dr. Claire Asam is a Trustee of Queen Lili‘uokalani Trust in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. The Queen Lili‘uokalani Trust was established by Hawaii's last monarch with her family lands to help orphaned and destitute children, with a preference given to native Hawaiian children.
Dr. Asam is also a member of the University of Hawai‘i Center for Hawaiian Studies Advisory Council and Hawai‘i Community Foundation Board of Governors.
Dr. Asam received her B.A. in Child Development from Connecticut College, and M.Ed. & Ph.D. in Education from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
